Bonding time

We are affectionate dog owners. When Donnie got Jack 3 years ago, Donnie would lay down on the couch and Jack would jump up and lay down with his head on his chest. Well last night they were doing that and rocky felt left out. Too cute.

It's been 15 years

Those of my friends who've known me for a long time know I have allergies and take lots of medicine just to survive them. A solution for them would be to move -- that's not really an option right now...so in an effort to see if I can get off some of my two nose sprays and allergy pill (3 prescriptions)...I'm having my allergies tested again. I did allergy shots for probably 8 years..but didn't see an improvement...still had to be on the 3 prescriptions

It's been 15 years since I was tested by an ENT doctor in New Albany....and as our bodies change and our tastes change....my allergist suggested getting tested again and trying to do shots again. So I've been on antihistimines and decongestants for that last 15 years....until this past Friday, February 11th. In order to complete the allergy testing I have to be off all antihistimes for 7 days.  This kind of makes me freak out...

I warned the ladies I work with I might sound like a man or sound sick...but I am not...just without my allergy medicine.  I will have the tests performed this coming Friday afternoon and then I can get back on the medicine. YEA! The hope is that the allergy shots with a more correct mixture would ultimately replace the three presecriptions and maybe help me not have a sinus infection every month. :-)

So I apologize for those you might not understand what I say...but I promise it's temporary.

what day is it again....

Do you ever have those days when you wake up and you know it is a certain day?  You anxiously await 5 p.m. on Friday....well today I woke up and with everything that's been going at a work, etc....I woke up this morning at 6 a.m. like normal...thanking God it was Friday and I had another weekend to enjoy.

Alas, you all know that today unfortunately is NOT Friday; only Wednesday.  I mean I even got all the way to work and was thinking about who wasn't going to be here at work and what I would do for lunch as it was Friday and wondering if Donnie actually made some plans/reservations for Valentines Day. 

Since IT IS Wednesday and I have two very full days at work....I will do my best to be productive and enjoy it.  On a side note, I have been able to go to the gym twice already this week.  I did a 45 minute spinning class on Monday and on Tuesday I did a 60 min. class called Ultimate Interval (combo class of cardio and weights with abs).

I'm trying to work out at least 3 to 4 days a week; coordinated with Donnie's meeting schedule. It's been good to work out....it helps me so much relieving stress and helps me decompress from work.  Some people like to watch TV ... I like projects and working out. 

Still need to download some pictures to my zipdrive so I can upload to the blog on some stories that's happened...but that will have to come later.

Cars - Help?

I need the name and number of a good and fair auto mechanic....
My car needs the EGR valve replace and it's leaking antifreeze in large amounts from somewhere.
Donnie's car (Convertible) - there's no heat and it's leaking antifreeze...probably needs a new thermostat.

Argh.
