Today could be a very good day for us as a family, but it comes at the decision of a company to close a plant. Let me explain...as my husband is a financial advisor he can help people with their 401K's, stocks, bonds, wealth management, and life insurance, etc. He loves being able to save people money and then have the chance to influence their family and what they can leave to their families. Not all of these things I understand...but he enjoys it so that is all that matters to me.
Yesterday him and his co-worker were invited to the Whirlpool Plant in Evansville to help counsel employees as they close the plant. It is very sad that they are closing the plant and I pray that those taking early retirement and those getting other jobs continue to find employment and satisfaction in what they do.
That being said my husband and his co-worker will have the opportunity to help 1200 people over the course of the year roll over their 401K's and transition their benefits. This is the type of opportunity where Donnie might have to hire people to help with the paper work, etc.
I am praying for wisdom and discernment for Donnie as he counsel's these workers as they transition to another part of their lives.

Things I love....
So Happy Spring!!!!
Just wanted to write a couple things I love...
1. Driving a convertable during 70 degree weather
2. Mint - Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
3. Smell of Fresh Cut Grass
4. Seeing Jack run at full speed and loving every minute of it
5. Blue Cloudless Skies
6. Organizing a new home
7. March Madness
8. Joy in my heart because of all my blessings and what Jesus has done for me
I'll write more a little later. Been kind of busy with the house. :-)

Moving thoughts
So last Friday Donnie and I closed on "our" first home together and ever since then almost every minute has been filled with packing, cleaning, working at our jobs, or sleeping as we'll be moving this Saturday. Oh and eating...I can't really miss a meal. :-)
I am filled with excitement and exhaustion at the same time. It's really also kind of odd with how many times I moved as I grew up and into my 20s I would think I would be a little more excited about moving for the last time in probably about 20 or so years. There are benefits to moving frequently....you get rid of clutter, only keep what you REALLY want or need....now I'm kind of wondering how fast it will take for us to fill up this new and much larger space.
I know the longer you live somewhere the more you accumulate...so we'll see what happens. As Donnie and I both don't like clutter; there will probably still be the annual cleaning out of the closet and donations to charity of items that someone else could use.
It'll be interesting to see what happens. Stay Tuned.
